Fall party - thoughts?

We've had an outdoor movie night with a Halloween-themed movie, pizza and popcorn. Drinks for the adults, and the kids ate, watched the movie, and ran around.

I’d skip the hunt and keep that as special for Easter. Painting pumpkins would be fun.

I'd steer clear of doing a hunt with candy filled eggs if it's not going to be ON Halloween. They'll get enough candy then! Painting pumpkins is really cute, or could do a S'mores or hot chocolate bar?

We do a Halloween parade through our neighborhood, too. We have a lot of younger kids and older neighbors. It started during Covid, people brought the candy down to the cul-de-sacs so they could keep distance and now everyone looks forward to it! Bring a folding chair and a portable fire pit and it's a block party!
