Gyn has no appts available

I’ve always had trouble getting to see an OB gyn (6 of them) in a reasonably short time unless I saw the NP or mid wife first.

The unforeseen (except it was very much predictable and likely intended) is closure of planned Parenthood, despite that the majority of what it does is provide gyn care, not abortions.

Yes I think this was what the original poster meant.

That now w/Roe. vs. Wade being overturned unfortunately many or all of Planned Parenthood health clinics may have to close.

Why at CT scan? When I had what I thought was an ovarian cyst my OBGYN ordered a pelvic ultrasound. I would clarify with your PCP.

They are booked because women are rushing to get birth control, some even before they really need it (my DD being one of them).

Yes, I think you are correct. Isn't this a scary time for all considering these draconian laws. The ripples affect everyone.

Check on Zocdoc. I had a gyn emergency several years ago and was able to find a doctor to see me the next day.
