| I am middle aged and not the demographic that watches makeup gurus on YouTube. But when I was trying to buy lipstick and sampling was limited BC of covid, I'd search say Mac lipstick review on yt and find a beauty guru with my similar skin tone. I must have watched a dozen Swatch videos before I found my Mac! Kinda Sexy btw. My lips but better. |

| Clinique black honey is my favorite- either the glass or almost lipstick. It looks dark but isn’t and it a great color. |

| Go to Ulta or Sephora website and use the TRY ON feature. In store they can give you a sample to take home. |

Know if you look good in coral or berry. Go in either direction. And know if you look good in true red.
But why wouldn't you go directly to a store and look at the color? Makes better sense. Hold it up to your hand, if necessary, to see if it looks good re: skin tone. |

both of these are good for us "more mature" women. The secret is to try and match the color of your gums, so mauves often work. |
