I haven’t combed through it yet but I’m betting the list of active federal LEOs is very, very low.

Federal LEOs have background checks with actual teeth that inspect every part of their lives.

Local LEOs background checks? Pathetically bad, especially if it’s a nepo hire. And then you have the elected LEOs who get no vetting at all.

Yeah, those USSS background checks really paid off. There were not an insignificant number of fed Leo protesting on 1/6. Some had guns and badges.

I used to work in a "watch" center (i.e. we were reviewing raw intel 24/7). Guess what was on the three big-screen tv's 24/7? Fox"News." Honestly, coming from a completely different agency -- the tenor of the DHS-sub-agency was one of the reasons I couldn't stay. Very old-boy, anti-gay, anti-dem mentality.

DH was a DC MPD officer. Many years prior to January 2020, he would talk about how the right-wing militia was deeply imbedded in SOD. On January 6, 2020, the Capitol Police Chief, Steve Sund, was a retired MPD SOD Commander. There is no way Commander Sund was unaware of what was to happen at that capitol. That man was and probably still is plugged into everything. So yeah, even in our own backyard , our police our OK and PB affiliated. The current MPD Commander is a PB sympathizer, at the very least. Remember these are the same officers who harassed one of their own officers for testifying before Congress about what happened to him on Jan 6th. Called him all kinds of puzzy, traitor, and what not, and that man was beaten by the January 6 mob.

Fox News should be banned from any tv that is paid for my the US Government. Fox News is so anti American it is demoralizing for our troops and it spreads the coup plot.

It's not a new narrative. We have known this for a long time. When people talk about "defunding the police" it is meant to be a means to root out the racists and paramilitary white naitonalists from their ranks. Most regular cops are just fine. But there is a bad element who do things like shoot black people in the back, or in their apartment or knee them to their death.
