Metropolitan Branch Trail -- What has happened to the trail?

I love the MBT. I wouldn’t bike on it at night but it’s such a great protected way to move through the city.

If you were able to pass then they did not prevent you from passing.

Is that sorta like saying “if you can shout “I can’t breathe”, then you CAN breathe”?

Because it sounds like that.

Way to live down to the stereotype. If anyone is to wonder why lots of people hate cyclists.

Don’t worry. As a cyclist I hate you right back.

You're a misanthrope? Why are you even living in a city if you hate people so much?

I'm a cyclist who won't go on the trail due to the number of issues I've heard about from other female cyclists.

I never realized that male cyclists were THAT bad.

PP, you are funny and sad.

I like the trail, but are there days of the week where box trucks full of trash are not parked lined up along it near the dump? Because that air was not healthy the one time my family was on the trail.

Kids playing catch in a park. The horror! It's giving me the vapors just thinking about it.

any arrests in the shooting on the pedestrian bridge?
Anonymous
I don't think any arrest in shooting yet. This was good work by MPD.

Some of the victims, as many as 28, were punched and thrown to the ground. Their wallets and phones taken. 2nd suspect not in custody.

Do the MPD police the trail on the weekend anymore? I hate to see such a wonderful resource go to waste.

So you’re saying there was a backup in both directions on the trail because no one could get by the football throwing boys? Your game plan for the whole day must have been thrown off by this neutral zone infraction. Hopefully you can catch up this weekend and tackle everything you didn’t get to. Or will a replay challenge show that everyone could get by, including you?

The suspect in the 18 robberies has been charged as an adult.
