Theme Park food options

This or bring food in. I have food allergies and have always been able to bring enough snacks to sustain. I eat in car right before we get there too jic. They barely check your bags.

Just buy a salad

I haven't been to Water Country USA, so I have no idea what the food options are there, but I just came back from Disney and was pleasantly surprised at the large number of salads at just about every fast casual food place. We were there for a week and I didn't gain any weight. I didn't eat salads the whole time but I probably ate one a day. If you are only going to the park for a day I would just eat what you want and make sure you get back on track right away.

I would have a couple chicken strips, no fries. Bring an apple in your bag

It’s one day. Please eat more than 4-5 fries or 1 chicken strip. Most of these posters sure know how to suck the fun out a day at an amusement park.

Just eat light with your family at whatever snack bar or cafe they have and enjoy the day. Avoid sugar, if that’s your trigger. Your diet will survive and my guess is that you’ll be a lot happier.

It’s one day. Unless you are 10% body fat, you will not notice.

I specifically listed these because the other food options are either horrible, or the cafes have long lines. Salads/Fruits are not an option since I will be walking/climbing/riding all day, these will not last long. I intend to only eat one time.

Turkey leg I guess, but they're crazy high in sodium/fat, and I can't imagine any universe in which someone on a diet would need to eat a whole one. Just bring a protein bar and some nuts and dried fruit or one of those fruit/veggie pouches that runners use if you're serious about your diet. That's what my spouse does and he's lost a ton of weight, and these are small enough things that the guards usually don't toss them if there are restrictions on bringing in outside food.
