Infants, Toddlers, & Preschoolers
| I rarely used them. |
Wow, it surely didn't sound to me like the OP stated this was a big problem or even close to being the "toughest problem she has". Yikes. It sounds from the responses like people call different things "onesies." We have shirts that snap at the crotch - I do not call these onesies. To me, onesies are undershirts that snap at the crotch. My 2yo ds still wears them under his shirt while it's cold outside. All winter long, all three of my boys wear undershirts under their regular shirts, the older two wear regular crewneck ones, the toddler wears a onesie. Once it's warm out every day, I'll ditch the undershirt layer for all the kids. And once the toddler potty trains, he'll switch from a onesie undershirt to a crewneck undershirt. |
Don't be an ass. It's just a question and no more or less important than the other questions on the board. If you have a problem with it, then you need to prioritize which issues you need to deal with...mine or yours. |
| You knowI feel strongly about onsies in the cooler months because I see so many kids picked up and their belly/back is exposed - must be cold! But I am also one of those people that needs an undershirt, my husband makes fun of me and says its not sexy at all. With that said, my daughter is 2 and wears 18m onsies in white that I got at Carters. Love them! |

We stopped around 10 mos. because it became so much easier to check DS's diaper by just peeking down the back, instead of taking the pants off, unsnapping etc.
Still had 18-mo sizes that I'd already ordered (a bit eagerly), so I cut the bottoms off of those and turned them into regular T-shirts. |
| I stopped using onesies when he grew out of them, around 18-20 months. I've had a hard time finding undershirts, so I use a tight soft T-shirt. It's better to have a layer close to the skin to keep warm. |
| I stopped around 18months. I would've liked to have gone longer, but I had difficulty finding them in bigger sizes. I like them for the colder months, so that their belly doesn't get exposed to the cold air. |
| My DS is 20 months and he's worn them all winter when it has been cold, and I plan to do the same next winter (I think Carters and Hanna Anderson go up to larger sizes). |

My twins are 19 months and I still use onsies daily under their shirts to keep them warm when their shirts ride up (unless they are wearing overalls in which case, their bellies are already covered).
I figure I'll stop putting them on later in the spring and forego them next fall/winter as they will hopefully being to potty train. |
