Radford

Really?

No, I'd say it's closer to VCU or Old Dominion

The median salary for individuals with bachelor’s degrees or higher is $106k: https://www.census.gov/library/publications/2021/demo/p60-273.html

Took me all of one minute googling to prove that you are … let’s go with not nice.

I hope you are never in the hospital and need any nursing care in the ICU. Jerk.

Don’t worry about PP, they’re just desperately insecure about something or other. That’s why they park themselves on DCUM trying to dunk on people who are actually happy.

JMU and Radford. Both excellent like Towson.

Yes I know it’s not high ranked and outside the dmv people have never heard of it. But in state was important to us for $ and she didn’t have the grades for UMD.

Within the dance community, it is VERY well known - One of the top dance programs in the country, actually.

That seems right

Doesn’t Towson have a pretty decent accounting program?
That is a good route to always having a job and making good money

According to the 2021-2022 Common Data Set for both schools, the 25-75% range for SAT scores at JMU is 1150-1300, while at Towson it's 1050-1210. (Percent of students submitting SAT scores is about the same.) And for what it's worth - which may not be much at all - Forbes ranks JMU #96 and Towson #197.

What percentage reported scores?

I know it’s not an Ivy League school, but I thought I got a pretty good education and really made some great friends and contacts.

What is the perception of this school? I hope people will consider it as a good and affordable college option despite it not being a top rated school.

OP ignore this board. Seriously kids from Towson do just as well and UMD or any other college for that matter.

It's more about motivation and what major they pick.

Yes, Ivies might get you connections LOL they do not always equate to better jobs than state universities.

DD’s perception is bad based on the SAT range
