Sibling bedsharing

My girls shared a full bed until we moved this year - they were 9 and 4. The 9 year old was excited for her own room but said she didn’t mind sharing with her sister. They still do “sleepovers” fairly often (once a week or so). The now 5 yr old has struggled to adjust to sleeping on her own.

The younger one moved from her crib when she was almost 3. We planned on bunk beds but then the pandemic hit and it was scary / hard to shop. By the time we felt comfortable with stores, the girls were happy sharing a bed.

I (female) slept in my brothers' room til I was in 7th grade and they were in 4th. I slept on a mattress on the floor while they slept in bunk beds. I hated sleeping alone in my room.
