| In would go with the audi e tron. Not the best range, but pretty good vehicle overall. |
+1 We have had our Mach E for two months - finally! Completely worth the wait, love it! It’s beautiful, comfortable, and fun to drive. |
| I would get the mach e but at that price range you could look at the lucid air too |
| We have the vw id4 and I love it. |
We had a Model X for four years (got it in year 2 of sales, I think). We had very few problems with it and they were always fixed right away, but that was several years ago - in fact Tesla service used to come to you to fix things - not sure if they do that anymore. I have heard that it's much worse now. I loved most things about the X except THE STUPID DOORS! I really hated the falcon doors. As soon as the Y came out, we traded the X for the Y and I love it. Have had it for almost two years now and the only maintenance I've had to do is put windshield-wiper fluid in it! |
Are you satisfied with the range? Do you mostly drive it locally? Thanks! |
We’ve had it over a year now so experienced winter where range definitely dropped. We are close to two electrify America charging stations so love the free charging, but just installed solar so got an EV charger installed at the same time, which we will mostly use more in the winter I imagine. We have driven to NJ, CT, NY and throughout the DMV. Never had an issue with charging, and have had some pleasant surprises finding chargers (Monticello for example, which had chargers in prime parking spots). My husband was the real proponent of going with an EV. I was skeptical initially but am a total believer now. Never going back to gas. There is so much funding going toward building out the EV charging structure in America, and I’m excited to be part of it. It’s going to get easier and easier to have an EV and even now, it hasn’t ever been a real inconvenience. |
I’m the id4 poster, which I love, I really do. But, Every time I see a Mach E, I feel a twinge of jealousy… |
They don’t do that anymore. It’s horrible now. |
Why? It’s a sell-out “mustang” built by crappy American company. |
| We really love our Ioniq 5. We've had it since April and are really happy with it. I think that the Kia EV6 is really attractive as well. |
|
The best ev are Tesla's, then Volvo , each are 10 And 3 years ahead of the competition in tech and experience
|
| I don't think Tesla is ahead of the competition anymore. I do think they are more aggressive than the competition which could help car owners or could come back and bite them (on battery life etc). |
The charging network is way better. |
+1 on the IONIQ 5 - we're really happy with it. |
