Menopause weight gain

Anonymous
I hit menopause right after I had a baby (early, just like my mother before me) and never really lost the baby weight, then went 60 lbs into obese territory. I've since lost 75 pounds and hope to lose another 25 to be safely in "normal" rather than my current "overweight." At the time I gained I just thought I was too busy to focus on controlling my weight, but looking back I do think much of it was menopause related. Intermittent fasting has helped.

I recommend this book if you want to do a deep dive!

I've started reading this book and it's FASCINATING. I'm only 44 and in the very early stages of peri-menopause and already thinking about how to change up my workouts.

I’m early 40s and this book is a game-changer. Started HIIT and lifting heavy sh*t and it’s working.
