I never watched stranger things, lost, 24, breaking bad, or the sopranos. I found all of them stressful. I also never got addicted to Seinfeld (but love curb your enthusiasm.)

You won the thread, but have seriously missed out on one of the best films of its time!

Pretty much everything with more than one season

The Simpsons. I didn’t have a tv or when I did no reception for so long I fell behind and it felt weird to go back to it. Same for a ton of other things.

The Wire - I do want to see it though.

All reality TV, except the first few seasons of Survivor
Harry Potter
Star Wars except the original 3
All of those make-you-cry mommie dramas (This is Us, Parenthood, etc)
Anything Marvel/DC Comics etc.
Tiger King
Squid Games -- actually anything Korean, including the music

Lost (I always meant to, should I watch?)
I have seen everything else mentioned in this thread (from Dallas to Battlestar Galactica) except This is us but that isn't exactly a cultural phenomenon

Game of Thrones

All things OJ. Not the car chase. Not the trial.

I find it kind of amusing that a number of commenters seem to feel that if other people like it they know they shouldn't watch it. Why? Are you that different? Do you feel the same way about books and theater? Just wondering.

One comment vaguely made reference to not liking popular things

I win. All of the above. I am also not on social media at all, except WhatsApp to connect with family and friends in US and other countries,

since 2016 - I have also stopped watching news coverage. I am just not a consumer of misery. I don’t follow elections as they happen, I don’t watch any media coverage of Ukraine, I don’t watch coverage of mass gun violence, I did not watch Jan 6th as it was happening inspte of living in DMV. I am aware of issues, read a lot and I am a big consumer of documentaries, comedy shows and international dramas - k drama, c drama, Turkish soaps, lollywood, Bollywood.

Irl - I choose to work on environmental, educational, cOvid related community work. And I have teens at home so I am plenty clued in to a lot of stuff discussed here
