I can’t stop binge eating.

Hypo, synthroid.

I've had a lot of luck with foods like applesauce, jello, soups, and things like hot chocolate and herbal teas. I don't know if it's volume or the amount of time it takes to consume or what, but there are certain foods/drinks I find satisfying that take enough time to eat/drink that the urge to binge passes (sometimes).

Good luck!

Ask your dr about semaglutide or liraglutide drugs. Look for a dr who specializes in weight loss.

Adderall. Vyvanse is officially approved for bing eating, but any ADHD stimulant might do the trick.

It helps me work through anxiety or dull work tasks without a bag of chips or other crunchy food.

Interesting
I got Adderall for adult ADHD, and as side effect - it killed my appetite completely. I've lost over 5 lb in a month without even trying

No say. I gained so much on Zoloft.

Eating, especially crunchy or chewy foods, is a common dopamine seeking behavior with ADHD. The meds make me forget to snack.

My teen DD is on Zoloft and gained a ton of weight. It saved her life, so it's worth it, but she will likely wean soon. Hopefully, the weight will come off.

Processed food is addictive. Get rid of that if you haven't already.

Good luck

Are there particular times of day that are bad? For me, it’s late at night. I’ve found that 1) going to bed earlier, 2) knitting, and/or 3) drinking herbal tea (because of the repeated tastes) all help. A good time to break the cycle is when you are staying away from home- hotel, family’s house, etc.

Stop buying crap at the grocery store. If all you have to binge on in your house is fruit, veggies, nuts and almond butter you’re good.
