A Very Secret Service
Lupin
Criminal
Call My Agent
The Returned
A French Village
OSS 117
Untouchable

A French Village is one of the very best series (in any language) I've ever watched. May not be suitable for all tweens, so decide based on your own child's maturity. But it is so, so good.

A French village is all sex sex sex - def not suitable

Lupin however is excellent - there are 2 seasons on Netflix and a 3rd in the making.

Ah, you're right. I'd forgotten about the sex since the the drama was so powerful and memorable.

French Village is a half baked camp comedy.

It's a 7 season drama about the Nazi occupation of a small French town in WWII. Perhaps there are two series with the same name?

Most things on Netflix can be toggled to different languages. My kids are in bilingual school and I only let them watch tv in Spanish.
