Nantucket is dog heaven. There, dogs are actually preferred over people. From the ferries to the G-650s, you will see pooch preferences abound.

From personal experience:

1) Pawleys Island, SC / Litchfield Beach, SC

2) The Florida Keys. The further south you go, the more dog friendly it is. We loved Key West and Marathon.
