When she was three and she liked riding it while being pulled, and later pulled it herself. This was a few years back though and now some airlines don’t allow them in the seat which was the whole point (and made for such a good flight experience we recommended them to people…)

I've seen these in action and they looked pretty fun for the kid. We always put DD in the window seat (containment above all), I wonder if we could get away with using it as an ottoman there, if we put the tray down. Would the FA really look that closely?

Get a car seat bag with wheels. You can put them in it and roll them around.

We use these for our toddlers. https://www.amazon.it/Trunki-Ladybug-Valigia-bambini-Coccinella/dp/B001KC06MO/ref=sr_1_1?__mk_it_IT=%C3%85M%C3%85%C5%BD%C3%95%C3%91&crid=246EI3N6WXDER&keywords=trunki&qid=1649341215&sprefix=trunkii%2Caps%2C87&sr=8-1&th=1

Great for our 4.5 year old in airports and anywhere flat and easy to roll because if she gets tired of dragging it, she sits on it and it is pretty easy to drag her around on it, instead of a stroller.
