“Gas may be expensive but freedom is priceless.”

Those who don’t support nuke power, natural gas and energy independence are Putin’s allies and enemies of freedom.

The “issue at home” is that the war in Ukraine is driving our high gas prices. And food prices. And certain basic materials for industry.

The war is inflationary and Putin knows that people like you will trade the Constitution for $2 gas.

I don’t know what Putin knows but many Americans think their fellow citizens should be injected against against their will with chemical cocktails.

Maybe his troll farms are helping make Americans a bunch of fearful weaklings, ready to shred the constitution for a temporary feeling of safety.

It's textbook people.

Just don't drive as much, and push demand down, if you can do it.

+1. Push demand down is the key.

Pushing demand for many things (fuel is just one of many) has its repercussions too. And for many people not driving or driving less isn't an option given how dysfunctional our public transit and bike lanes are. Are you also suggesting we should push everyone to live in large cities and focus on making them carless and do away with any rural and suburban lifestyle? Hard sell for America

Amen. We already forgot about atrocious vaxxports and vaccine mandates and all the crazies (including on DCUM) crying about punishments for the unvaxed and how to make their lives as unbearable as possible, including death wishes. Never forget.

There are towns in the south where golf csrts are the primary mode of transportation. This should be adopted everywhere.

Why don't you spend more than 1.5 sec to think before posting nonsense. Can you possibly think of many reasons why golf carts aren't viable replacements for cars?

Or you could just ask everyone to go online like we did during the pandemic. That would drop demand.

Yeah, go ask all doctors, nurses, and first responders to “go online” like you did

There was absolutely zero reason for suburbs to be built as bike and pedestrian hostile as they are. It’s like people really thought that gas would always be 29¢ per gallon.

I’m hoping that widespread adoption of WFH will significantly reduce America’s reliance on foreign oil.
