Peloton strength recs

Another vote for doing Hard Core on the Floor. I like the variety of instructors and classes. In terms of instructors that kick my butt, it's Selena, Rebecca and Hannah C. Funny thing is they are my least favorites personality-wise (I don't dislike them or anything, but they are no Matty, Daniel, Rad or Callie). I've been dedicated to the monthly stacks for 4 months now, and it's going really well. I've even gotten my 16-year old daughter to join me, and we curse out Rebecca and her hard classes together.

I love Olivia's ab workouts. They kill me.

Olivia and Emma for abs
Adrian, Jess, Robin, Callie, Daniel for upper and lower. Adrian is my all time favorite though.
Tunde and Alex (he only has a few but are effective) for arms toning w/smaller weights. 3lb or 5lb 10 min straight repetitive motion. so hard despite the lighter weight. and effective!
I also am part of Hardcore. I follow the calendar but tend to switch out instructors for my favorites and will do the same exercise set as the calendar.

Love hardcore!

I like Jess, and while I’m not sure he’s “like” her, I really like Ben’s strength classes. His manner is very low-key, and I find his movements to be straightforward rather than complicated.

Rad and Daniel are fun and help get through their tough workouts.

I like Olivia, too.

I cannot believe I am going type something similar. Robin and Andy are annoying AF. But they are absolutely top notch.

Andy’s Total Strength programs are excellent. He really grew on me and even though I’ve been working out for years, I truly got stronger doing TS2. Also love Callie and Jess.

I get annoyed at Andy’s dad jokes but he is such a great trainer. A lot of them expect you to know why you are doing something but he gives so many small pointers on form and where you should focus the work - he is incredibly knowledgeable! If you follow him on IG he also breaks down form for specific movements that I find helpful. I think Rebecca’s training has gotten better since they started dating too!

I think Adrian is solid. I get a good workout every time I take his classes. Im starting to take Rad’s classes as well and so far so good.

I can’t believe there are so few mentions for Selena here. She is my favorite lower body instructor for sure.

I do like Rad and Ben. I also like Matty’s strength classes.

No one touches Jess, though!

Adrian’s classes are too repetitive. I almost always swap them out.
Love: Jess Sims, Ben, Daniel, Robyn and Matty.

Honestly they’re all fantastic. I love Callie’s personality and often will choose her just because I know I’ll have fun. Same with Matty, Hannah C (love her barre), Daniel and perhaps Logan (I haven’t taken enough with him yet but his premiere class was awesome.)

The new split stack programs also look great and would be a good way to try new (to you) instructors.

You are absolutely right. Selena is my favorite for lower body, although the pace is quick!

Selena is too annoying — the stupid “nasty but nice” banter is awful.

I stopped taking her classes for a while because she annoyed me, but Rebecca Kennedy has had great strength classes lately. I am dealing with tennis elbow so have only done lower body for a few weeks and they've been really good. Lots of talk about form etc.

I never take Andy, bc he annoys the crap out of me, but hear he's really good with form. Maybe he's rubbing off on Rebecca. (Pun intended? Maybe.)
