Another PSA--some neighborhoods have higher crime rates than others. |
| What the living F! I am so tired of the F -Ing city council and mayor not legislating in mental illness and the rampant public drug use in the city. This guy was sick in the head or high as a kite, or both! |
| Robocop and batman are needed to cleanup dc |
I assure you this was not a "mental health" issue. |
My immediate thought is that they had intentions to traffic the kid. |
That was my thought as well, unfortunately. |
How can you assure that? |
Thanks! So glad that we don't have to worry about that, what with your assurances and all. |
Did it say the kid was talking to the stranger? I have a three year old and I hold her hand in crowded places but if a man ran really fast behind us and grabbed her he certainly could. |
| This happened to my kid (same age too) by a woman. My kid fought her off and ran to me. She was drunk and high. She needed treatment and social services to get her a stable place to live. None of which she will ever get in the US! |
DP here. I didn't see any reports that the kid was talking to a stranger. But even if he was, so what. We don't teach our kids not to talk to strangers. We're not that paranoid. |

I was almost run over in Georgetown. Car took the corner so fast--people were amazed I was alive. Temporary plates, didn't stop, probably boosted. This sucks! City Council, you SUCK! |
Does she turn it down? You are correct, we need to pass laws to involuntarily treat and hospitalize people. |
WTF???? |
| It doesn't say stranger in the posting, does it? Kidnappings are often by the non-custodial parent. |
