Husband occasionally calls baby names

Anonymous
You are right to be concerned OP. My h hadn’t spent much time with babies, doesn’t do well without sleep and can be easily frustrated when tired. Never, never, never would he have called the babies names or directed his frustrations at them (or any other people). This is concerning.

Oh hell no. It's one thing to call your 4-month old pet names like "stinky butt" or "mr crankypants" but "“effing dumb***” is mean and abusive language.

Thinking is just as bad as saying it to him.

Wtf. No. No it’s not. You can’t always control your thoughts. Thinking does not mean you need to act. Understanding that is growing up. Goodness.

"Stinker" when changing a diaper, but what you described is horrible. Show him this thread. You should be able to show him this thread, OP. If you can't, you have bigger problems.

There's something wrong with people who swear a lot.
It shows they have a limited vocabulary and poor impulse control.

If someone routinely swears at an infant, I'd be worried they'd end up shaking them or being physically abusive at some point.

He needs Anger Management so he doesn't end up hurting that baby.
