Almost seems like they're scared of guns, huh?

No conservative response to the NRA banning guns at their own conference in Texas, of all places?

How can they legally ban guns inside the convention if they believe that every person has the right to carry a concealed gun?

They won't let people in with guns, but they fight against businesses requiring patrons wearing masks? Good god.

Yep. And no conservatives on here are even commenting

Pretty much proves they want to limit rights for the rest of us while subjecting us to AR-15 violence, but not have any of this apply to them.

It's like everything else. Protesters allowed at clinics but not near justices' homes. Arrest and deport undocumented workers but do nothing to the businesses hiring them. No abortions for anyone, except their mistresses, possibly their daughters, and after the republican sexual assault thread, some of these dudes are coming at their daughters as though they were mistresses.

So yeah, why is anyone even slightly surprised the NRA wants to limit guns at their gun worship services?

Especially since Republicans are always telling us that the solution to gun violence is to arm everybody and then let the good guys take out the bad guys.

Tells you everything you need to know.

Guns for them, but we can ban them for everyone else when it's convenient. A class of elementary school kids and their teachers getting killed is no big deal.

When Trump speaks. Would be the same if Obama spoke somewhere. Trump, in particular, is a target.

Trump is rightfully scared of leftists with guns. Scalice nearly died.

The left doesn't get to threaten someone's life then say "oh, they are scared".

Of course they won’t allow guns at their convention. They want to feel safe and protected.

I think Trump needs to be more scared of bereaved parents with guns. It's not like there are going to be that many leftists subjecting themselves to going to an NRA convention in Texas right now.

The worst part is Facebook and Instagram are blowing up saying if only those teachers had guns this wouldn't have happened.
When will people understand that more guns don't make the gun problem better?.
If guns helped keep people safe, wouldn't the NRA want everyone there carrying them?! And there were police officers at that school who engaged with the shooter and he still got in.

I went to search for a few stories I know of, one in OK, one in IN where an armed principal and armed resource officer stopped school shootings. They have been scrubbed from the media.

It would be poetic justice to have a massacre there starting with NRA officials and all politicians in attendance.
