NRA convention in TX

Will there be protestors there? I hope so.

I think they will end up canceling or moving it. If I was the parent of a Robb Elementary student, I would be out front of that building with the casket.

I agree they may cancel but not move it. Also NRA is not what it once was. They have little power and are mostly a corrupt money making entity for its leaders.

Looks like it's still going to happen, Trump's going to it. They aren't allowed to have guns there though which is pretty ironic.

Oh no. You do not know these people. They will laugh it up and celebrate this.

I think protesting is a waste of time. A better use of time would be to arm protestors with AR 15s and let the attendees walk through the crowd.

If I was a parent at that school I would be fully armed up and attending that NRA convention with a sign that indicates the score I have to settle. See how they feel.

Yes, people who are able should register and attend with ARs in tow. Since, as the gun nuts claim, we would all be safer if we all carried guns, why shouldn't everyone seeing all those Republicans talking be carrying guns? It's supposedly the best way to keep us all alive.

Guns are banned at the NRA convention in Texas when Trump speaks

Tells you everything you need to know.

Guns for them, but we can ban them for everyone else when it's convenient. A class of elementary school kids and their teachers getting killed is no big deal.

I was just coming to say exactly this

I hate them. I hate them so much. I HATE them.

Funny how they're not allowing guns during Trump speech. But they want to give teachers guns in schools.

Almost seems like they're scared of guns, huh?

And please make all of those protesters black!! Because you know they're scared of blacks even without guns.

Maybe that's what will work in getting effective gun control. And getting disturbed individuals hospitalized or in group homes instead of walking around doing harm to others.

The worst part is Facebook and Instagram are blowing up saying if only those teachers had guns this wouldn't have happened.
When will people understand that more guns don't make the gun problem better?.
If guns helped keep people safe, wouldn't the NRA want everyone there carrying them?! And there were police officers at that school who engaged with the shooter and he still got in.
