Should I get a toddler size table?

Yes, very worth it. We mostly use ours in the playroom and for arts and crafts, but also put it in the dining room as a kids table when we have guests with kids.

We have an inexpensive IKEA set and I’m glad because it gets drawn on, spilled on, stickers stuck to it, etc. We clean it up, of course, but I’m glad I don’t feel any stress about it.

Bought it when kid was 2 and now she’s almost 5, and I think we’re probably going to upgrade to something larger this summer. Can probably also get something higher quality at this point. I prefer this to an adjustable height table because our need/use is different now. The new one will stay put, be larger, and likely more heavy duty, and be almost entirely for craft activities.

And with the top that can lift up for storage.

+1 And chairs that are sturdy enough for adults to sit on too

I just have a very sturdy wood coffee table we use for colouring and such (or she uses the kitchen table). I haven’t felt the lack of mini toddler furniture. But I have a small space so it wouldn’t fit anyway.

We have a small wooden table with two chairs that is perfect. It’s a kid craft and comes in a few nice colors that match a lot of decor. My son is four and still uses it daily for puzzles, arts and crafts, or eating a snack. We have a crate and barrel kid sized overstuffed chair that he uses to look at books in, but doesn’t get as much use as the table and chairs.

Extremely useful! We didn't use it so much for regular playtime and crafts, but it was great when other kids were over for meals, as PPs have mentioned. Assuming you have *some* space, would definitely recommend.

Yes, get one.

If you don’t want a whole separate table just get toddler sized chairs that work with your coffee table. That’s what I did for years.
