And toddler sized chairs. Have people found this helpful or do kids mostly like playing on the ground? How often do you use it and what do you use it for?
I have one. My kid sometimes uses it and prefers to sit on the floor or the main table at other times. I just got a cheap one from IKEA.
I think they’re great. I would not get one from pottery barn or something but there is just something so cute about seeing toddlers sit at a table their size! My kids used them for art projects, sensory play, sometimes snacking…that’s all I remember. It was fun when friends came over too.
We have two, one downstairs and one in my DD's room, and she uses both of them all the time! Great for coloring, working on drawing shapes/letters, cutting/pasting/gluing crafts, etc. A lot of that stuff is easier at a table than on the floor I'd think, plus it helps to keep the mess contained. One of ours is also the IKEA one which is cheap and does the job fine - you can probably find free ones on NextDoor or Craigslist, even.
We have one in the kitchen/dining area. The kids often eat breakfast (on weekdays, when we don't eat with them) and snacks there. It's also used for arts/crafts. We really like having it.
Yes, snacks, coloring play do - it’s cheap enough or look for it in a buy nothing group.
They’re great! We have two - one for art and one in the kitchen for meals. I have a 3.5 yr old and a 20 month old who refuses to sit in her high chair but eats well sitting at the little table with her brother. The art table is great for keeping crayons, paint and play dough only on the table.
They are great, my toddlers have all really loved them and used them constantly
We in fact had the PB kid table. - over 5 yrs, kids used it daily for breakfast, crafts, “homework.” We then sold it for $80 at garage sale. Was still in great condition.
We had one used for years. 25 dollars at Ikea I think.
We have a spare bedroom as a playroom do for us it’s been great. If I didn’t have a playroom though I would not. It’s just something else that takes up space.
Yes, but get one that is largrer than what you need now. My dad brought my son one that was a little too big for him when he was 2. He's 7 now, and he and my 9 year old daughter still use it! One of the best uses has been when we have people over because it frees up space at the dining room table for adults.
Mine likes the ground. I got him an individual table from Target. It’s plastic so it’s easy to clean. He is five now and uses it for drawing and writing. We moved and now have a table too, but he almost always prefers to sit on the floor with his floor table.
Get one with multiple leg heights
If they're in daycare, no. They do that all day at school. I might get one otherwise (but in a neutral color that looks good with the rest of the house). Ikea should work well.
