The council controls and approves operating and CIP budget. Every issue that you are pointing to is actually the council’s fault and more specifically Navarro’s if she’s the committee chair. |
I don’t see how Blair isn’t the favorite. He was only 77 votes short last time, now there are fewer candidates. There were polls with Elrich ahead but I’m sure plenty of people were undecided waiting to see which candidate is most likely to beat Elrich. It’s like Bernie Sanders in February 2020. Bernie was ahead at the time with a plurality, then everybody dropped out and endorsed Biden and he won by a landslide. Now Blair has the Sierra Club, the Realtors, most likely the Washington Post, and several respected elected officials. Additionally, many people who are moderate Republicans and independents are registering as Democrats just to vote for Blair, and they weren’t counted in any polls. |

Cool.
So do I. Vote Blair!!! |
It's hard to overcome incumbent advantage. |
True, they aren't counted. But I don't know how many there really are. |
If you had been paying attention, you would know they did fix a lot of it. |
LOL. Absurd abdication of responsibility. Not to mention only part of the story, as it doesn’t address all the revenue cuts and subsidies the council passed and promised to fix with revenue but never did. |
| And now Feldman has endorsed Blair! |
