Jazz up my oatmeal!

Blueberries, chopped walnuts, ground flax seeds, a bit of maple syrup, unsweetened almond milk. Sometimes chopped dried apricots instead of blueberries.

This is almost exactly how I make it for my DS. Except we start with apple cinnamon oatmeal, and add the craisins and walnuts afterwards. A drizzle of cream or half & half for the finishing touch!

+1 I like sliced cherry tomatoes, baby spinach (wilted in the oatmeal), a few pecan pieces, and a little bit of shredded mozzarella cheese.

Your blend sounds good!

I always have to throw in a few nuts, which helps me stay full longer.

Blueberries. Fresh are perfect, but frozen are also fine. Warm them up in the microwave, then put the oatmeal on top of them.

Banana, sliced thinly and kind of whipped into the oats in the last couple of minutes of cooking.

Pear with crystallized ginger. This is amazing.

Hemp hearts, dried mango with chile, baked apples (tastes like pie)

Shredded unsweetened coconut
Chia seeds
Pecans
Walnuts
Dried mangoes
Goji berries
Sliced almonds
Dried dates

I often make a huge pot of oatmeal poha. I do a lot of prep beforehand so it doesn't take me much time in the morning. I add quite a bit of veggies and not only we eat it breakfast, but often will pack it for lunch box. My kids love it eat it with tomato ketchup. I eat leftovers with my evening tea.

It is really an idiot-proof recipe that is very delicious..

Overnight oats in two general varieties:

(1) oatmeal, OJ, chia seeds, and vanilla yogurt
(2) oatmeal, drip coffee (usually leftover from the morning pot), and vanilla yogurt
