A giant igloo cooler of ice water and some of those waxy paper cups.

So true. I can feed my own kid if I want him to have a snack.

Parents (moms) at our games bring Gatorade and Doritos.

The first thing I did when I took over as coach I ended snack and every parent thanked me.

I signed up but now I’m second guessing what to bring for snack.
A mom brought a small gift bag for each kid with snacks (veggie chips, gummies, cookies, candy ) and toys like
Fidget toys, bubbles etc. What do you usually bring for sport if you sign Up for snack share? TIA!

Are you sure the mom wasn't celebrating the kid's birthday with a little something extra for his soccer friends? I've seen over-the-top post game snacks, but only bc it was the last game or the coach or teammates bday or the like.

We bring juice, orange, and goldfish or graham teddy bears. Some will bring juice, granola bar, and orange.

We bring extra for siblings.

The kids really look forward to it at the end of the game. They all get the snacks and then sit together on the grass and enjoy and chat.

We think it’s actually easier than having to bring drinks/snacks to every game for your kid. Once during the season and you are done. It works well for our soccer team.

OP here nope it was not a birthday. This was the 2nd or 3rd same style of snack/toy bags

Please tell me this was JES.

That is absolutely insane, OP. I recently brought individual bags of pretzels along with cheese sticks. I would have brought a fruit instead of one of those options but I forgot about my duties until the last minute and didn't have enough fruit.

Also never occurred to m to bring Gatorate after a single soccer game for young kids (I'm assuming they are young based on the other parent including gummies and bubbles in the "snack" bags).

It just makes no sense. Why do parents continue to do this?

Just a small snack. This mom is going way overboard. It isn't a birthday party goody bag.

Op you signed up to bring a snack, so do just that. One snack per player.
