Same here. Your post OP assumes all vegetarians are sacrificing something they like for a moral reason. Fake meat also sends that message. I would much rather eat a bowl of rice and beans than some greasy chewy dead animal. |

No interest in changing, but if I had to, maybe roast chicken. |
| 36 years. No interest in changing but if I absolutely had to it would be chicken j guess? Seems easier than other meats. |
| ^^ pp again and that’s funny, I didn’t read the 2nd page of comments bf posting. I seem to track the poster above me!!! |
| DH is pescatarian (and really, mainly vegetarian) except for pepperoni. I find that so funny. |

I don't miss much but I do occasionally crave those big breaded chicken tenders (the kind you get at an amusement park or sporting event). You can make a pretty good version with oyster mushrooms but it's not the same. |
| Over 20 years. Meat grosses me out (even before becoming veg) so no interest in ever eating it again. |
What are you talking about? She doesn't eat it when you put it in front of her? |
| For 25 years. Can't even look at meat. It looks like flesh to me and not something I would ever eat. I have no desire to eat red meat or chicken. Hot dogs and bacon do hold a special place in my heart and I could maybe consider having a bite of those. I do eat fish and eggs. |
Wait, what? Why? Did your parents force this on you? How do you know you'd eat bacon if you've never had it? Sorry! I have a lot of questions.

Pretty much. If I make curry or stew or whatever with chickpeas/lentils/tofu/beans/shrimp, she’ll eat it cheerfully; same meal made with any kind of meat, she’ll carefully eat around or pick the meat bits out. If I serve meat as one dish, she just won’t eat it. Loves peanut butter and avocados, though. If this is the one way she’s going to be insanely picky I’m honestly totally fine with that. Much better than my niece who are anything — so long as it was beige and a bland. 😂 Toddler food preferences are weird. |
| 30 years, since I was 10. No desire to ever eat meat again, tried eating fish about 10 years ago and got very sick. |
| 30 years and would eat a normal marshmallow. |

My 7 year old has always eaten like your toddler. It’s fine, great even, and has encouraged us to eat much less meat at home. I think we’d all live to 100 if we ate like these kids. |
