They actually did 37 weeks 1 day. They were firm but I think it really depends on whether they entered the uterus during the myomectomy. This increases the risk of rupture in subsequent pregnancy. They did with me and that makes the 37 week recommendation stronger. If they never entered the uterus some doctors might feel more comfortable pushing it later. Personally, I was not happy to be delivered that early but 2 different MFMs plus the gynecologist who removed the fibroid recommended it and I didn't push back at all. Their goal is to deliver before someone goes into labor. |

My day 6 blasts are now 11 and thriving, smart, healthy, great kids.
I carried them to 37wks 2 days when my OB insisted that was enough. Healthy pregnancy, well managed/calm birth, healthy kids, we all went home together, all is well. Good luck OP!! |
Two normal deliveries at 39 weeks, both kids perfectly healthy (that we know of, kids are 5 and 3) from 5 day blastocysts. Weights were around 7 lbs, no complications during pregnancy. |
| Aren’t 5 day transfers standard practice now due to better outcomes? In any event, my 5 day embryo is now our joyful six month old. Had an easy delivery at 40 weeks, 3 days and pregnancy was uneventful, save for bad morning sickened the first few months. Birth weight was normal. |
| Yes 5-day is standard nowadays. I only made 6-days but he was born at 39 weeks 4 days and 7 lbs. |
