Lol No |
Doesn't ATS have more capacity now that it moved into the old McKinley building? |
Capacity has nothing to do with the waitlist. They already gave out all the spots that account for any new capacity. OP is 50th on the waitlist. That means almost every family given a spot in K would have to turn it down in order for her kid to get a spot. |
We are leaving ATS - it's just not what it used to be. |
We are in the top 10 on the wait list and still do not expect to get in. |
I got in an upper grade last year and my waitlist number was in the high teens |
What grade? |
For Kindergarten? You will get in. |
Can you expand on this? Where are you going? |
Let's just say we don't quite like the new ATS location. Overall, we prefer moving out of APS to elsewhere that has proper textbooks and better learning resources. |
For Kindergarten? We were number 9 on the waitlist and got in in the summer. Unless ATS is suddenly even more popular than it used to be three years ago, you most likely will get in. |
Erin is that you? |
Shhhhh, let her go |
What is your opinion on teaching 2nd graders to find the subject and predicate of the following sentence: That sounds like sour grapes. |
The new ATS location is not that far from the old ATS location so there’s gotta be more to this unless you were right across the street. Care to share if you’re going parochial or big private (Langley, Potomac) or smaller private? |
