Greenbelt, MD woman went on vacation on March 28th - by Apr 5th her entire apartment was empty

Yeah, sorry— this is a felony. Forget squatting. B&E, theft of thousands of dollars worth of goods, fencing stolen property, assault & battery, etc. This was a violent crime, I don’t understand.

I’m not a single woman living alone but I used to be and have many good friends who are. This has me shook. You KNOW they targeted her because she was a woman alone. It doesn’t matter how self-sufficient and tough you are, some people will always see a woman on her own as someone they can mess with.

The part about him showing her the various ways people can get in her apartment was classic “I’m going to commit a crime against you while explaining how it’s you’re own fault for being a dumb girl.” I hate everything.

It’s okay that all her belongings were stolen because she had insurance? I hope you’re kidding. These people are criminals and they deserve jail time.
