Great question.

Here's an article from 3 days ago https://www.freep.com/story/news/2022/04/19/desantis-textbooks-florida-woke-one-publisher-allowed-k-5-math-classes/7357965001/

That’s the same Tallahassee Democrat article that’s in the OP, reprinted by the Detroit Free Press. They’re probably both owned by Gannett or one of the other big conglomerates that own multiple local newspapers.

Me again, it is Gannett because the USA Today ran it as well. Yahoo News did also.

Also, the Palm Beach Post had a prior article not mentioning Accelerate Learning but noting that it will cost $20 million dollars to roll out the new materials, just for the school districts in Palm Beach County.

“What you hear isn't half of it. He's got scams you haven't even dreamed of. Kickbacks on his kickbacks. There's a river of dirty money running through this place.”

Wow. Times how many school districts?

Palm Beach County is about 7.5% of Florida’s population.

How many school districts are there across all of the red states?

The ones that the Youngkin MAGAs haven’t banned yet?

So Florida could be $250 million. How many districts in Texas? And all of those other Republican sh1t hole states?

Huh? You think Carlyle makes its money on 1-2 big deals and that’s it? No, it’s a collection of grifts across industries. Diversification. They will kill people if it gives them half a percent on the bottom line. They will absolutely change laws in order to put their competitors out of business and corner a market.

I would have a problem if he were profited off of pro CRT books. At least he backs what he stands for.

I would have a problem if Hitler donated to the Anti-Defamation League. At least he backed what he stood for.

Bumping this thread. It shouldn’t be lost in the shuffle. Youngkin’s letting his freak flag fly now, but don’t forget he wants to profit off the division he’s created too.

Back in the fall I posted that I had had coffee with someone who knows Younkin and said he’s a shady ass. I was called a troll. I was not trolling and it seems I was relaying correct information.

That was obvious given that he’s a Republican in 2022. Only the bad eggs are left.
