How much do you typically spend on takeout?

All in?

For our family of 3, it can be $600 - $800+ on takeout, which includes everything from Starbucks, to grabbing bagels, stopping for ice cream, and the typical takeout of pizza or a meal ~1 a week.

It's way too much but we have trouble cutting back due to convenience and habit.

Each order is typically $60-100. 2 adults, 2 kids. We usually order Thai, Indian, Vietnamese, sushi, Korean, sometimes pizza.

+1, except 3 adults and one kid, and if it's sushi it's more like $130.

We usually spend $60 for 2 adults and 2 young kids who share a meal. This includes a tip and tax and fees, which is usually $10-13. We order in a lot, 3-4x a week

Family of four, 2 teenagers.
Our dinner take outs range from 60 to 120 each time.
We do between 2 to 4 times a week!

It is what it is. I cook a lot and feel very tired. There has to be a healthier alternative!

Family of five. Two teenage swimmers, one basketball player.

Takeout at a quick/casual place like Chik Fil A, Nando's or Cava is around $60. We don't typically order drinks. My swimmers order two entrees at CFA or get extra meat at Cava, then eat DD's leftovers unless she beats them away with a stick.

If we order pizza/italian or chinese, we are easily in the $120 range unless I plan it for a night where you buy one pizza or parmesan and get the second for $5!

We cook most of the time. If we are ordering out, I need it for my sanity or our schedule!

Family of 5 - 2 teen boys, teen girl, parents.

We got Chinese takeout last night and it was $83 with tip.

All 3 kids got Chick fil a on Saturday for lunch and it was $35 for 3 meals.

Last week when we ordered pizza and wings, it was $75 with tip from our local joint. Pizzas used to be $16.99 for a large cheese + $1 per topping. A large cheese pizza is now $19.99 plus $1.50 per topping. A specialty pizza, like the works or veggie, used to be $22 and is now $25.

Sushi is usually around $200 or more.

Chipotle is usually $60-75 for all 5 of us depending on who gets guac.

We've cut back to only eating out. We try to just do one night through the week and one weekend evening.

This is me - only pay delivery fees once but eat for days. When my guy is over (we don’t live together) the price goes up more like 3x than 2x like you’d expect going from 1 person to 2, but he’s a big guy.

Most delivery food - thai, chinese, pizza - always seems to he $75-$100. Two adults, one kid and one tween. However, we almost always have plenty for at least one meal (for all four of us) for leftovers. This is slightly more than it would have been pre pandemic. This IS balanced by the fact that the pandemic broke our habit of eating OUT all the time!

I can't figure out if McDonald's is offering another BTS Happy Meal deal or people want it but DO NOT buy that infected food for your kids. They are sprayed with covid mist to get your kids sick and pretend there's an outbreak for young kids so new round of hot shots are coming. THEY WANT YOUR KIDS.
Side note here, those boys aren't real. They are holograms.

4 people, inc two teens

Low end is 40-60 - Peruvian chicken, pizza from a local Italian place (we don’t like dominoes etc), Chinese, Cava, Taco Bamba

Higher end - Sushi, other local restaurants we like, more like 90-110

It can add up
