| Please share cuisine type, restaurant name if you choose, number of people and typical order amount. I know food prices are going up but I can't tell how out of the norm we are. |
| Family of 4 (including 2 teen boys). Usually about $40 to $60 for takeout at places like Mod Pizza, Cava, Panera, Subway, Cafe Rio, Zoe's, Baja Fresh, etc. |

| $60 at Joes Noodle House, for 2 adults and 1 child. We usually have enough leftovers for a second meal the day after. |

| Family of 3, anywhere from $20 - $50 depending on the place. We tend to not order out as much these days, and if we do it tends to be on the lower end, unless DD wants Tropical Smoothie. I can't stand their food but the smoothies are decent. |
| Usually under 20. Def no more than 25. Just 2 of us mostly unless DS comes home over the weekend. |
| Under $50 a month for two people. We usually order Chinese or south American chicken once or twice, max a month. |
+1 This is us, except for 1 teen girl and 1 teen boy. What about you, OP? What are you spending and for how many people? |
| With delivery it’s rarely under 30$ a pop for two of us, more if kid approves menu. We try to pick up takeout when it’s feasible. |
| Probably $1000 a month on dining out. We don’t do much take out. Of that $1000, maybe $200 is take out (like a pizza once a week). |

Family of 4 with teenagers.
We have two tiers - low key take out like Panera or local Chinese or pizza or some other sort of not fancy food we typically are in the 40-60 range. Once or twice a month we do fancier - the local steak place, higher end Mexican, a Cuban place, fancier Indian, and then are in the 100-140 range, depending. (on if we get alcohol, too, partially, especially for Mexican). |
Way too much, obviously! Since Covid we have been doing more takeout from sit-down places because we don't eat out typically in restaurants unless we can sit outside. We just spent $80 on three people from Seoul Food DC this week which made me sit back and reflect on how much we are spending. To be fair, it was enough food for 2 lunches the following day as well as the three dinners. But still...we clearly should cut back on this. It really adds up. |

We spend $20k yearly on take-out for a 2 parent, 1 toddler family
We order dinner 3-4 week. So maybe 100 per order including tax and tips. We order a bit more to have lunch leftovers. We get Italian, French, Chinese, American, French. Basically we order where we would normally go dine in. |
| One person. Anywhere from $40-$80, generally a few meals are ordered at a time. |
