This is a great list. How many in graduating class total? |
Not really these days. |
That is not correct across the board. |
But are also strong students....fyi |
There seems to be posters who are intent on knocking Norwood’s outplacement down. It’s a weird obsession. |
| Envy is in the eye of the beholder. It is relevant when there are sibling ties and that is worth disclosing when someone is asking about outplacement. But that doesn't equate with knocking it down. |
| Nice job, Norwood! |
+1. And I think there are 3 boys going to St. Albans, not 2. |
But there always has to be a first sibling to establish those ties. Who almost always graduated from Norwood as well. |
| In addition 5 will be going to Bullis, 2 to Landon, 1 to Georgetown Prep, 1 to SSSAS, and several to SAES. Graduating class size is 50. |
| 2 to GDS, not 1. |
|
The St. Albans attendees do not have NCS siblings….
Full pay probably |
PP, I hope you are referring to other posters, as my bold was stating that the siblings were strong candidates in their own right, they not getting acceptances just on the coattails of their older sibling. |
In the year my child graduated, 2 of the 3 St Albans acceptances were the oldest child in the family. Please stop trying to say it's all about siblings. St Albans makes siblings apply in normal process with everyone else (no early nod or feedback from admissions) and are not necessarily given preferences. |
I’m not the PP but I think it’s important to point out that each class of graduates is completely different coming out of every k-8. So you can’t compare a Norwood grad this year to a Norwood grad from 2 years ago or a child graduating next year. The kids are completely different even though they had the same teachers and same curriculum. The kids they compete for spots with are also completely different. |
