DC is now officially at medium transmission (orange)

Masking is a choice at medium transmission levels too. It’s on the cdc website?

Why not?

Because I don’t want to deal with the hassle if it’s positive. Don’t test, don’t tell us my motto

I’m genuinely curious why not testing if kids are ill.

Our preschool is requiring PCR or rapid test before returning tomorrow AM.

Don’t send your kids in if they have it. All they will do is get other families sick. Don’t be a d#ck.

They aren’t sending in sick children, my friend.

I’d love to see how a two-year-old gets a Covid test.

What happens after a positive no test that is a hassle to people? Do you have to follow up with another test?

Whole daycare class gets stuck with a 10 day quarantine if there’s a positive test at our school. It’s not sustainable for working parents. Not to mention disruptive for kids. And totally unnecessary. Therefore, no test, no positive, no quarantine!

Don’t be dense PP. I’m not keeping my kids home from school, I’m not staying home myself and we’re no longer masking.

I'm also not testing myself or my sick kid. Not dealing with the paperwork.

Then why didn't the Mayor re-up the Public Emergency?

Does anyone care about your kids, if you stay home or not, or your face?

What does this topic have to do with you not staying home? It’s about preschool.

I know two different families who got it this week. Ironically, both stayed in town.
