Gov. Youngkin is a great guy

Yeah, it makes me uncomfortable when our elected officials have so much money that donating their entire salary (or even a quarter of it) is no big deal at all to them. This has the opposite effect on me of what’s intended—just makes him seem all the more out of touch with issues regular people have to deal with.

On the contrary, he has been a divisive presence with terrible instincts, worse advisers and a shit policy record so far. His stupidity on masks and the CRT and all his embarrassing missteps got his tenure off to a terrible start and made Virginia a mockery. His record on education and environment so far is dreadful.

“Divisive?” Ha. Only because you disagree with him. He is doing exactly what most Virginiaians electe him to do.

And just wait until he “goes on the offense” against women.

He’s a great guy if you’re white nationalist without a uterus.

Well said.

Note to Youngkin haters: It's his first quarter salary, not a quarter of his salary. He's donating 100% of his salary and he gets paid quarterly.

Once he starts matching MacKenzie Scott, I'll call him a great guy

Yes, we understand that.

+1. This is equivalent to me throwing a quarter into a Salvation Army bucket, except Youngkin’s doing it for publicity.

He's not a billionaire.

Right now it is only a quarter of his annual salary. We will see if it continues.

DP. At an estimated nearly half billion net worth, I will be impressed when he commits to giving away on the same scale as MacKenzie Scott.

Why does he hate women so much? And teachers?
