I would try Banana Republic, Ann Taylor and even Zara. But the mall has been super crowded lately, I mean off the chain crowded. I would try to go very early, like when it opens. |
Agree on Macy's at Tysons. I was there a couple of weeks ago with the same objective (and similar body...though a couple of sizes bigger than you thanks to general Covid sloth), and there were a lot of good choices. They have a HUGE dress section at the end of the store furthest from the mall. Agree that a lot of the other stores don't seem to be stocking much, but Macy's had a ton of choices. |
If you're headed to Tysons, it's worth a stop in one of my favorite consignment stores - Fashion Exchange in McLean. I have almost given up going to the mall and always stop at consignment shops before I go anywhere. |
Op back here. I had good luck at Nordstrom and Ann Taylor. Got jeans, pants and a lot of tops. Of course, and this is always how it works, all the stuff that I saw online at Ann Taylor look terrible in person, but I found different stuff that looked a lot better in person and on me after I tried it on. |
Also, these pants are amazing.
