I like it in cereal, it just doesn’t scream party beverage to me. I like to serve “sometimes treats” at parties. A little soda, even caffeinated(!), isn’t going to hurt anyone. |
| My boys are in this age range and love milk, Gatorade, and water. 2 out of 3 of my boys do not like carbonation and that is a big difference of soda vs Gatorade. |
|
For a party? Gatorade or soda. The 10 and 11 yo bdays were Covid style, outdoors small crowds and the Gatorade was definitely popular.
|
| We did water/lemonade/fruit punch. Fruit punch was the most popular, but the others went over well too. My ds doesn’t really like soda, so we skipped those. |
| Bai is also popular |

You don't want to do soda?
Kids love soda, it's absolutely exactly what they want. It's a kids party, it's not for you, it's for them. Get over yourself and give them soda. |

Lemonade, fruit punch or root beer/cream side
They will not touch sparkling water - I have tried |
LOL, no, tween and teen boys don’t want your 45 year old mom diet beverage. Give the kids water, sports drinks, or soda. If you want to get fancy do Arnold Palmers. |
WTF are you serving for food at your tween parties that you think milk is a good pairing? |
This is what my kids would want. Plus maybe orange or grape soda. |
| My son that age hates soda—can’t stand carbonation. He likes Gatorade or juice, but water is fine too. Or if you want to get fancy, he loves a virgin darqhiri or a nada colada. |
My 11 year old son actually loves LaCroix, for some reason. But at a party? He would be so happy to see soda. |

Lactose intolerance for many |

Seltzer, water, ginger ale or sprite, lemonade
Mine would drink milk. Prefer no sofa. |
