I think of those folks as needy. I pay the whole bill, but never eat out with them again.

Ugh, I have a friend who never seems to want to pay her share. She's very attractive so has gotten away with random guys always buying her drinks, taking her out etc... but for her girlfriends. NOT COOL. And you'll always see that she does have more cash in her wallet (why she supposedly needs $40 for cabs for a night is unclear to me given the distance she'd travel). And of course she drinks by far more than I ever do and then I should split the bill?!? Hardly seems fair.

If anyone has any thoughts on how to deal with a friend like that, please share your advice. I try and not let money come up as an issue ever again, but that's of course not possible.
