Open FCPS Coalition Recall of Omeish

Anonymous
Omeish needs to go - any school board member that refers to a colleague as “too dumb and too white” needs to be removed. Especially as they insist that county employees continue to be forced into equity and awareness training. Where’s the outrage?

Their efforts to recall Tholen and Cohen failed spectacularly so I am wondering if they are still chasing this windmill.

So what's the deal. Are they still trying to recall Omeish?

Who did she say this to?

Sheesh. I watched that chick pull numbers from thin air in pre election debates. I purposely did not vote for her during the election because of this. She is one of the dumbest ivy educated people I have ever run across

It was a comment from Omeish to Pekarsky about Brabrand.

And for the record it was “just dumb and too white” not “too dumb and too white.”

Maybe they actually got lives. Nah, probably not.

They helped Youngkin win which is too bad.

If they’d succeeded in recalling the school board members it would have sent a message that the dems were sane and wouldn’t need a republican governor as a check on their crazy.

Yep. Win the battle and lose the war. Democrats are going to be very vulnerable in SB elections next year.

Only if republicans are smart enough to find a middle of the road candidate. And that’s unlikely. This area still very much leans left.

+2. And Youngkin will ultimately overreach, imo, as he has already done. The crazy sh-- the House and He are putting fw already . . . no thank you.

Youngkin isn't my School Board representative and he's not eligible for another term. For now care more about getting rid of Omeish and the other liars, hypocrites, and bumblers who've turned the FCPS School Board into an echo chamber of idiots.

Youngkin is reminding people why thy don't vote for republicans.

And Omeish, Frisch, Cohen, Pekarsky, Tholen, Keys Gamarra, Corbett Sanders, Derenak Kaufax, Meren, Anderson, and Sizemore Heizer are reminding people why they won't vote for Democrats, at least not when it comes to the 2023 School Board elections.

Yep. These clowns need to go. And I am personally very happy that Youngkin won.

+1

Yes, there are multiple dumb people in Virginia. We know. No need to “+1” it.

Ambiguous comment but it’s not like the Democrats on the School Board the past two years have displayed an ounce of intelligence or integrity. Sending all the stupid text messages to each other is what undermined the claim that the TJ admissions change was somehow “race neutral.”

DP. Aww. Still upset that Youngkin won? Pouting is so unbecoming. Maybe try growing up.

When was the apology issued?

These activists need to step down as soon as possible, or they need to be forced to resign.

Luke who? I too can create a "news" website, post my thoughts and opinions, call myself a reporter, and write a book about my thoughts and opinions. What real value does his input provide? What professional credentials and research experience in the field of education or epidemiology does he have? Show me his peer-reviewed journal publications, and then I'll trust that there is some weight to his findings.

Grumpiness won’t change the fact that the dems are screwing up and enough people are sick of them that they are vulnerable.

Youngkin didn’t win Fairfax but every percentage point he got that Northam did in the previous race helped him win.

Ah, if only you had the same minimum qualification requirements for school board members that you now apparently have for authors. If you had perhaps we wouldn't have ended up with the likes of Omeish, Frisch, and Cohen - three unqualified School Board members on a Board full of losers not even remotely up to the task of serving in any oversight or decision-making position.

The claims about CRT is why Youngkin got elected. CRT wasn't ever taught in k-12, but any discussion of racism offends and outrages white people.

+1. Omeish needs to stay.
