This is me. 47

HS class of 77 here. First heard Fleetwood Mac fall if freshman year. The dorm doors were always open and you could hear Fleetwood Mac, Supertramp and so many great songs in the halls!

Were you born in 1948 and live in a perpetual time warp of forever 1969 (like my mother who still dresses up like her to go to concerts)? Then, you will enjoy yourself. Otherwise, the pipes are barely a whisper.

OP here. I’m 30 and my sister is 25 and we are big Fleetwood Mac fans. And what does age have to do with appreciating good music? People always have to be so negative nowadays. Answer the question and be polite or move on.

Thanks to everyone else who commented. Think we will go! Even if she’s not bouncing around the stage the experience will be worth it I think!

Nice comments + people are mean here because they get to be anonymous cowards/bullies. I love SN...her music is timeless.

Nope, she has nothing on Stevie Nicks in looks or voice during her prime.

1948?
What? Fleetwood Mac fans are in their 50s now. Not 60s not 70s. They weren't famous in 1969 either. It was 1977 and on.

You are out of it, sweetheart.

Shut your pie hole. These 50 year olds were 7 yo back then. People just making stuff up. I bet you were not good in math. 😀

More like 1975 and on, whippersnapper.

Stevie Nix still sounds OK. Christie McVie's vocals aren't very good anymore. I saw the show a year or two ago.

Nope, what? I wasn't comparing her. I said this was my favorite cover. And you must not know Alice Smith, she is very impressive vocally. You might think Stevie is better, but you can't belittle the talent of Alice. And who gives a crap about looks, what does that have to do with talent? Not that it matters, but IMO Stevie was beautiful in her prime and Alice is beautiful now during her prime.

I love Fleetwood Mac. But hearing just the first two chords of "Don't Stop" always takes me immediately to Clinton/Gore '92.

Are they coming to the DC area? My husband is a fan and would enjoy seeing them.

I'm 56. The Fleetwood Mac album, which reached #1 in the US, came out when I was 9. Rumours was released when I was 11. They broke up when I was 17, and by that time, they were already an older person's band, not super popular with teens anymore.

FM has fans of all ages, but the plurality are now in their 60s and 70s.
