Fleetwood Mac fans, I have a question

Has anyone seen Stevie nicks perform in the last 5-10ish years? If so, was it a good show? Big FWM fan but don’t want to spend an arm and a leg if the show is dull.

Were you born in 1948 and live in a perpetual time warp of forever 1969 (like my mother who still dresses up like her to go to concerts)? Then, you will enjoy yourself. Otherwise, the pipes are barely a whisper.

1948?
What? Fleetwood Mac fans are in their 50s now. Not 60s not 70s. They weren't famous in 1969 either. It was 1977 and on.

You are out of it, sweetheart.

I have no answer to the OP, but this reminds me of my fave cover of Dreams. Alice Smith killed this!!

Fleetwood Mac fans are definitely in their 60’s. We were in high school and college when their first two albums came out.

I’m 40 and I love Fleetwood Mac and so does my late 30s husband. Carry on.

I mean Rumours is probably an all time top 10 album but the core fans who grew up with them are in their 60s.

Everybody in their sixties knows all the words to all Fleetwood Mac songs so they will be singing along so it doesn't matter how loud Stevie Nicks voice is. Trust me on this.

I wouldn’t go to a concert for free if Lindsey Buckingham isn’t there.

I’m 43 and I’ve gone to several FM and Stevie concerts. There were a lot of people my age and younger at every one.

The Stevie shows are fun. Her voice isn’t what it used to be but she can still put on a good show.

OP here. I’m 30 and my sister is 25 and we are big Fleetwood Mac fans. And what does age have to do with appreciating good music? People always have to be so negative nowadays. Answer the question and be polite or move on.

Thanks to everyone else who commented. Think we will go! Even if she’s not bouncing around the stage the experience will be worth it I think!

Yeah, I remember being mad that the latest Mac tour wouldn’t have Lindsey in it and then the pandemic canceled it anyway.

OP, I’m seeing her this September at a festival and I’m pretty excited about it, but I’ve never seen her before.

I’m 48, and grew up listening to FM. Yes, they began in the late 60s before I was born, but they were a staple for anyone listening to the radio in the 70s and 80s into the early 90s. So their core fans will be in their 40s-60s.

+1. Don't reward these bastards. Buckingham was clearly the brains behind all the hits and the soul of the band.

Gawd, millennials are dumb/lazy AF. Stevie Nicks is at least 74. Before FM, there was Buckingham Nicks, FM hit it big in 1972.
