| Picky kids? Store-bought all the way. Picky kids are no good with homemade if it wasn't homemade by their mom. So go with Tysons or some regular chicken tenders. |
Just rethought this. The best chicken tenders are at Safeway. No lie. But they are having supply chain issues with them right now so you would want to call ahead and order. |
I would think it was odd if you asked me what type of chicken nugget I would like you to serve my child. I think nuggets with the option of a plain waffle is fine. Kids who have particular needs probably ate before. |
It's interesting that several people have suggested tenders. I know a number of picky kids who will eat nuggets but not tenders. |
I'm an adult picky eater and am not even sure of the difference between the two. |
Really? A nugget is bite sized, and usually, but not always (the Chik Fil A style ones being the exception) the meat inside is ground and put back together. A tender is a large piece of chicken breast that's been breaded and fried or baked. It's like the difference between a hamburger and a steak in terms of the consistency of the meat. |
Huh. I haven't seen that. I think because tenders are now available at so many places. Maybe 10-15 years ago it was nuggets or nothing but now it seems like tenders have overtaken all the products at places like Popeyes or KFC or CFA, etc. Unless the kid only eats McDonald's. I don't think they have tenders. |
| OP could you post your Chick Fil A air fryer dupe?? |
| This sounds like a great gift and menu. Some kids are picky to be picky and won't eat anything but the rest should find plenty given your options. |
