It depends on the individual, OP. Contrary to popular belief, men live in bodies that are not machines and are subject to all kinds of blips. Not being able to get an immediate response after an hour postcoital isn’t necessarily a sign of ED. He may have been tired, stressed, may have climaxed earlier In the day as “prep”, or a million other things. A quick attempt at a BJ may or may not have done the job, but a nice bath and a snack, or session where he was allowed to slowly please you manually or orally may have. And in any case, there a million things that can be done even in absence of an erection.

Now at age 45, I could probably get it up an hour later but no big desire that fast. Would take a few hours. At age 40, somewhat the same, a half day later I would be up for it again, and definitely every day.

This all seems within the range of normal.

If I'm not ready when she wants more, I just go down until she Os again. That act always does the trick for me and then I'm ready to go again. He shouldn't just stop pleasing you because he's not ready to go.

“Liking” has nothing to do with the physiological ability to. This guy may have well liked to.

In any case, OP, if he was a generous lover and made sure you were taken care of the second time, then I see nothing to worry about here.

I said ideally. I didn’t say we do this every night, though we frequently do. I enjoy it, he enjoys it, nothing to not enjoy.
