Is your school still requiring travel quarantine for unvaccinated students?

My kids probably wouldn't because they are more reserved but if they did, I'd happily tell the school we went somewhere in MD or VA. I get your position but there is no sense to this policy and I have to draw a line somewhere.

Guess it’s just my kid. My kids teacher knew the city AND resort we went to in Florida. No secrets here. I won’t tell them to lie.

OP here -- my concern exactly. I can't keep my kid quiet about where we went over the weekend. I just can't believe we're still doing this travel quarantine when masks are dropping left and right throughout the country and in this very city. Our charter also doubled down to commit to still requiring masks at all times everywhere on campus, including outdoors.

I’m a teacher and I wouldn’t even bat an eye if a kid told me they traveled. Nor would I report them to admin to quarantine. Maybe it’s because I have a toddler and think the pandemic measures are completely unfair towards young kids.

And I don’t know much about yu ying but their policies during the pandemic would have me looking for a different school.

+1. Also a teacher and would never think to report a kid that mentioned they traveled.
