This is exactly it. The favoritism society gives toward men comes from patriarchy. Society things men should be big and strong and women small and weak, so we punish short men and big women. Two sides of the same coin.

ewww I hate how big humans are getting. I don't just mean fat but all around big. From better nutrition and easier lives. Will we just keep taking up space like goldfish?

She said something so stupid! She doesn’t even deserve an answer. Not sure why she is having so much attention in the news (or maybe this was her goal to begin with)

So this makes it okay for men to shame fat women, ugly women, poor women, single women...etc I guess?

Why would you think one woman saying something batshit crazy means that men can shame women who are fat, ugly, poor, or single? What’s your reasoning here?

Under 5’ and over 5’4”. It’s just science.

And what age do they need to reach these heights by?

Should we start a new national zoo for all the new non humans ?

Like…17? Hit your target height or you’re in the zoo. No exceptions.

Yes. That was her goal.

She is from Japan where the average height for a man is 5'7", meaning a huge portion of Japanese men, according to her, do not deserve human rights simply because of their height. The hypocrisy here is truly astounding. We have so many efforts for body positivity for women where being overweight is celebrated. Yet where is the same kind of thing for men? You have nasty toxic women out there saying men under some certain level of height don't even deserve to live or deserve human rights. You can at least control your weight by not stuffing your face. How exactly can you change your DNA to make yourself taller? If we are going to push body positive culture, then it should go for everyone.

Woman. it was one woman saying it, and she was fired. It's literally in the title that she was fired.

Body positivity culture is for everyone. As a well-informed advocate for it, surely you know that? Oh, wait, no. You ignore the situations where women and overweight people are insulted, and instead just found this one article where a pretty young woman said something nasty about men and got upset about it.

Op, reflect.

Definitely - and their top performers should be invited to do tricks on Late Night comedy shows …

Omg are you saying someone with zero power or authority said something clearly wrong and bad and no one of substance agreed with her and now men are the real victims?

Imagine a prominent man saying that women over 130 pounds shouldn't have human rights. Women's heads would explode.

She's trolling and apparently getting the reaction she wanted. All she really wanted was attention.

We don’t really have to imagine that.

Agree.
Maybe not lesser as a human but I’m sure they feel sorry for shorter men, like most people would privately feel sorry for disabled people even though we know we shouldn’t be saying that out loud.
