Uber ratings - you can see how you were rated for last 500 trips

I took a flyer taxi today and it was a liberating feeling not to care about eating the driver or have the driver rate me. He drove me, I tipped him, end of story.

I’m 5.0 on Lyft with 62 rides; I’m also 5.0 on Uber, but I can’t see how many rides that is…I’m genuinely surprised no one’s ever ranked me lower. I’ve definitely had some butthole drivers.

I always tip, though—and I’ve only given 5 star ratings…to even those who probably didn’t deserve it.

I am one of the last humans on the planet to be new to Uber - where do you tip? I have only used it once and did not see where to tip - are we supposed to tip in cash extra to the amount stated at the beginning?

They cannot rate you when it's cancelled

I have the updated app but still can’t find it. Bummer.

Why do you care?

Seeing that young mother Uber driver beg for her life by the rider / robber before he killed her makes me never want to use this app again. Daily Mail article with details.

When we lived overseas I took uber all the time. Multiple times a day. My score was around 3 point something. Probably because I would argue with the driver over directions as I knew the streets better than the uber map and the best shortcuts. Did it matter? Nope. Always had an uber at beck and call whenever I needed one.

Haven't taken an uber in the last few years and don't miss them.

Yes, lower ratings are almost certainly from giving directions to the driver or being sloppy drunk.

Flyer was always the best taxi cab experience, true professionals.

Only a black car would be better.

Yeah, who is Ubering these days? Parking is way easier with WFH.

Parking is not always the issue

Interesting, I have a few 1 star reviews. I'm sure one of those was the driver I had a shouting match with because he wouldn't stop passing gas in the car. Not trying to be funny, I really thought I was going to be sick from the smell. No idea on the others, I am a good passenger.
