Are preschools announcing no mask dates?

Did not know that, but I can see how this could be yet another thing to fall on the teachers shoulders, and as much I dislike it I understand why some schools just don't want to deal with keeping track of kids masks why they are running around and playing or out for walks and making sure everyone has it back on properly before walking in the door. The teachers are already saints, they already have so many extra things to do now bc of covid, so I am all for trying to make their jobs as easy as possible.

They already do it for snacks, lunches, and naps, so they must have a system.

Since January, my daycare in Montgomery county started to have kids masked at outdoor play. I don't see any end dare till they are vaccinated, and my kid is 2 year old masked indoor and outdoor at daycare.

Can you be more specific? Locations?

There is at least 1 part time preschool in Arlington that is mask optional and has been since last year.

Yeah ours had gotten rid of masks outside which was at least a good starting point and then brought them back. UGH. Can’t believe e we still have to fight to let kids remove their useless cloth masks outside!!

Our preschool in MoCo is going mask optional outside and will revisit masks inside on April 1, or possibly before if we reach low community transmission.
