I like the website and I like that it’s tied to old Bay. His video does seem refreshing and that’s always a plus.

YEA!!!!!

I hope so. I am pro teacher. I am disgusted with the union and central office.

I don't see the connection--why is liking Old Bay a plus for serving on the Board of Education?

It got your attention, didn't it?

but I couldn't finish reading it because it hurt my eyes. So, that's a fail.

then watch the video!

Marketing 101.. if people have to do more work to figure out your branding/message, you will lose half your audience.

NP here.

Agreed with the Marketing 101 comment. I didn't watch the video. I couldn't do much more than scroll the page. The yellow is quite harsh and too much for my eyes. I just wanted to get off that page ASAP.

And I don't like Old Bay, either. I don't understand why it's even there.

These comments probably aren't what OP wants to hear. But if the candidate has any chance at winning, he'll need to address the website.

I think you are mis understanding me. I like his website. It’s fun. The video, we’re he introduced himself, was a very nice introduction to the candidate. It seemed authentic and genuine. I like the fact that it wasn’t overly produced and it seem to come from his heart. The video is the plus, not the old bay.

As soon as he said we have a superintendent received a no confidence vote, which is just a nod to MCEA, I tuned out.

Most people are not. McKnight kept schools in person and we got through the worst. There were some communication issues but some of that was caused by the bumbling county executive. Not sure what you folks who keep complaining about McKnight and COVID want.

You might just be particular. I had no problem reading the website or understanding his message, which is that the MCPS front line staff and administrators in schools are truly excellent, but the bureaucracy is a disaster and disservice to students and families.

I’m not sure why you are having trouble understanding what was clear as day to me and basically reflects the overall criticism that everyone feels about MCPS every day. Poor communication. Labyrinth processes that are unfriendly and difficult to navigate. Etc.

I don’t think you have the authority to speak for “most people”.

I know! I'm super liberal but have to vote against the Apple ballot and support more of those GOP candidates!

BOE races are non-partisan.

I like the points he makes in the interview, and his prior experience is great. I will be voting for him.
